DESCRIPTION

The historic “Association of the Athenians” and the newly founded “Athenian Museum” take part in the action of the Athens City Festival with two free guided tours.

Visitors have the opportunity to travel through two centuries of Athenian history during a tour of the “Athenian Museum” featuring items donated from many of the families that shaped the city’s identity.

The tour includes a visit to the hall of the “Association of the Athenians” that exhibits collections reflecting the urban history of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The tour will be conducted by the museologist of the “Athenian Museum,” Elena Gotsina.
