The Ai Stratis Political Exiles Museum explores recent Greek history. This tour conducted by the Vice President of the Museum, Charilaos Sismanis, examines the museum’s unique collection that includes material on places of exile, prisons and camps for political prisoners, as well as political persecution and the making of political refugees in the 20th century.

It will be accompanied by a screening of the 2012 documentary about Ai Stratis and Makronisos entitled “Like Stone Lions at the Gateway into Night” directed by Olivier Zuchuat.
