This activity is only available in the Greek language.
The Canellopoulos Museum hosts a narrative performance by the writer Stelios Pelasgos featuring fairy tales recorded in Athens during the 19th century by historian and folklorist Marianna Kambouroglou.
Marianna Kambouroglou, mother of the famed historian and Athenographer Dimitrios Kambouroglou, recorded the Athenian fairy tales that were told in the bourgeois homes of her time with absolute respect for their style, language and values. The fairy tales are a monument of speech that showcase the poetry and delicacy of the popular literature of the time.
