The slogan “Green Growth” defines a global trend for sustainable development, challenging us with some difficult questions. When can technology be considered ecological? Is sustainability compatible with a liberal market economy? This experience combines the critical history of architecture with a critical analysis of politics and sustainability. The journey starts from Delos and the Acropolis, passes through medieval city-states, the islands Tinos and Amorgos, and ends in London with the ambitious business plans of MIT and Aarhus.
