DESCRIPTION
The musician Lakis Halkias has collaborated with many of the most important Geek singers and songwriters of the 20th century. In this retrospective concert covering his broad and rich artistic career, Halkias performs songs by many friends and prominent Greek composers including Mikis Theodorakis, Yannis Markopoulos, Stavros Xarhakos, Apostolos Kaldaras, and others.
The Greek Music Workshop and Halkias dedicate a major part of the concert to traditional music, paying tribute to his own family that has played a significant role in preserving the traditional music of Greece.
