Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology

Pindarou 6, Athens

DESCRIPTION

This activity is only available in the Greek language.

The Kotsanas Museum explores the intertwining of science, law and philosophy in a journey starting from Ancient Greece. We’ll journey through the development of science, the natural environment and environmental protection networks, and we will discover how the concept of nature is conceptualized.

We explore the changing relationship between humans and the land by examining the philosophical and legal history of nature. How did land become valuable throughout history? How was nature transformed into property, and how did this contribute to the creation of social inequality?
Guided by Ancient Greek technologies, we’ll explore the origins of natural philosophy and the roots of modern environmental law.
