DESCRIPTION
Nana Vetta presents a new series of oil paintings on canvas and small works on paper at Genesis Gallery. The charged gestural style pushes the limits of the medium and seems to expand the picture beyond the borders of the frame.
The artist describes her method as the balancing between “the tension of the internal alertness which accompanies us in every step, against the external environment which attempts to impose itself as a framework.”
