The alarm clock of nature
Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology
Pindarou 6, Athens
02 - 25 May 2022
Air and water become allies with time and they measure time “drop by drop!”
Inspirator of the alarm, a great inventor of antiquity. The philosopher Plato introduce us to the first “natural” alarm clock that could be programmed as we desire/choose.
Nature, time, man and God are united under the first alarm device in history!
The first alarm bell was sounded 2,500 years ago and this year will ring again in the heart of today’s Athens, in a deep conversation with the ecological philosophy of technology. It works “without snooze” and is waiting for all of us to hear it!
