This activity is only available in Greek.

This walk sets off from the Acropolis Museum and heads towards the hills west of the Sacred Rock, tracing how art—and the daily practices of prominent figures in classical Athens—may have served as instruments of state ideology or propaganda. Together, we’ll explore where and how public life, politics and cultural expression were intertwined in the city that shaped democratic ideals.
