The University, the Academy and the Library—an opus magnum by brothers Hans Christian and Theophil Hansen—form Athens’ famed neoclassical trilogy. Described by Alexandros Philadelpheus as “the architectural triple crown of our city,” these buildings remain an enduring and iconic landmark.
