The This is Athens City Festival joins forces with IASIS (Civil Non-Profit Organisation) and the Connect Athens Youth Centre through the second edition of the Connect Athens Festival, contributing to raising awareness around the mental health of young people experiencing vulnerability and social exclusion.
Through the event “Building Bridges for the Mental Health of At-Risk Youth”, it brings to the forefront contemporary challenges such as loneliness, uncertainty, lack of purpose, and the emergence of delinquent behaviour. In the discussion panels, young people themselves join their voices with experts and institutional representatives.
The aim of the event is to transform personal experience into collective action, linking the needs of young people with concrete policies and practices at both national and European level. At a time when social cohesion is being tested, the Connect Athens Festival highlights that vulnerability is not an individual issue, but a shared challenge that calls for connection, understanding and meaningful support in order to create an inclusive future for every young person in the city.
This activity is only available in Greek.
