As part of the This is Athens City Festival 2026, the Embassies of Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and Austria in Athens invite the public to a multicultural celebration. Mesologgiou Square will be transformed into a vibrant meeting point of cultures, bringing the traditions, flavours and rhythms of Central Europe to the heart of the city.

From 18:30 to 21:00, visitors will have the opportunity to sample traditional delicacies and drinks from the participating countries. The evening reaches its highlight at 19:00, when the dance group from the Hellenic Centre for Folklore Studies (EL.KE.LA.M.) takes to the stage with a programme of traditional dances, inviting the audience to join in a large communal circle dance.

At the same time, a specially designed children’s area will offer creative activities for younger visitors.
