As part of the This is Athens City Festival and with the support of the Goethe-Institut, the Agios Nikolaos Playground in Neapoli Exarchia fills with melodies in a heartfelt celebration dedicated to Mother’s Day. Under the artistic direction of pianist and educator Maria Papadatos, talented young soloists present a demanding repertoire ranging from Bach and Mozart to Chopin and Debussy, dedicating every note to their mothers.
From 11:00 to 13:30, audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy performances by young virtuosos—many of whom have already received distinctions in international competitions—in an open musical event celebrating the power of music education and the magic of a new generation of creators.
