Historical Archives Of National Bank

The Historical Archive of the National Bank of Greece opens the doors of the Diomedes Mansion for a rare “behind-the-scenes” guided tour. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore an emblematic listed building of modern eclectic architecture, discovering up close the archival processing rooms and the permanent exhibitions.

The experience is enriched by the temporary exhibition “Lampros Orfanos: Portrait of an Engraver”, which presents the work of the distinguished artist in dialogue with the present. Seven contemporary visual artists, as well as students of the Athens School of Fine Arts, have created new works inspired by Orfanos and the Archive’s rich collections, bridging historical memory with contemporary artistic creation in a space where the past is preserved using the most modern standards.

1st tour: 16:00–18:00
2nd tour: 18:00–20:00

Bookings open one week before each event, at 12:00 noon.

This activity is only available in Greek.
