In the main building of the National Gallery, the public has the opportunity to participate in a thematic tour dedicated to the art of portraiture. As the tour progresses towards the present day, visitors observe radical changes in materials and techniques, discovering how the long tradition of painting was transformed to render human psychography with a contemporary perspective.
