Fairytales at the Museum: Babis Bourekas

This activity is only available in the Greek language. Babis Bourekas narrates “Wise Stories of Mother Earth” in the courtyard of the Phoebos Anogianakis Museum of Greek Folk Musical Instruments – Center for Ethnomusicology. Hares and mice, cats, wolves and foxes, blackbirds, peacocks, eagles and other animals and birds become heroes of myth and fairy tales that talk about good and bad, fair and unfair, joy, hope, trust, and life itself. The narratives are accompanied by music (with the participation of Maria Ploumi) and create an interactive experience. The show is designed for children and adults.
