Fired Up Athens Ceramics Fair

Fired Up Athens Ceramics Fair returns to our favorite Kypseli Municipal Market.

For the fourth time, more than 60 modern ceramic artists will be showing and selling their work at the Market.

FiredUp has now established itself as a fixed meeting event between ceramists and ceramic art lovers who are passionate about handmade objects, either decorative, functional or both!

During this two day event you will have the opportunity to meet the makers, discuss their techniques, discover their inspiration and the story behind each ceramic object.

Don’t miss our activities! Get your hands covered with clay and witness a Raku firing!

On Saturday May 25, from 12:00 to 18:00, have a go on the potter’s wheel! Adults and children welcome.
On Sunday May 26, from 12:00 to 15:00, there will be a live demonstration by ceramist Theodoros Galigalidis (with 35 years of experience in firing ceramics with alternative methods ),who will introduce us to the ancient Japanese firing technique, Raku.
