Rizokastro—literally “the castle at the root”—and Anafiotika, with its Cycladic charm, are two of Athens’ most storied and atmospheric corners. Through the landmarks that remain, the traces of what’s been lost, and the clues hidden in street names, we’ll bring these neighbourhoods to life.
