The Memory Route is a tribute to the thousands of anonymous victims of hunger during the occupation, as well as the victims of executions by the occupying forces. As we search for the past in the present, stories of the place and its people unfold. At the same time, the 3rd Cemetery is reintroduced to the public as a historical site of memory for those who “didn’t live” to see our country free.

The tour will be conducted by Zetta Antonopoulou, Historian-Archaeologist, and Eliza Neofytou, Architect-Museologist.
